Vietnam, DPRK promote information exchange

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper Dinh Nhu Hoan held a reception for the delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Embassy in Vietnam, led by Chargé d'affaires Ri Ho Jun, at Nhan Dan Headquarters in Hanoi on December 7.

At the meeting, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of DPRK to Vietnam Ri Ho Jun highlighted the traditional friendship between the two Parties and countries, while highly appreciating the contributions of Nhan Dan Newspaper to fostering the relationship between the two Parties and their nations.

He congratulated Vietnam's achievements in various fields over the recent years and expressed his impression on Nhan Dan Newspaper’s communication about the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the promotion for implementation of the Congress's Resolution.

Nhan Dan Deputy Editor-in-Chief Dinh Nhu Hoan thanked the Chargé d'affaires for the affection and appreciation of the DPRK Embassy for Nhan Dan Newspaper.

He said that the newspaper will continue to affirm the position and prestige of a Party newspaper, while actively renewing its publications and applying modern technology to building Nhan Dan into a multi-media and multi-platform media agency, meeting the higher requirements of domestic and foreign readers.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief also spoke about Vietnam’s socio-economic situation, including the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery.

Chargé d'affaires Ri Ho Jun briefed the host about important achievements of the DPRK, especially after the eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea. He emphasised that the DPRK Embassy in Vietnam wished to enhance informational exchange through Nhan Dan Newspaper regarding socio-economic achievements for the cause of socialist construction in the DPRK.

Dinh Nhu Hoan noted that Nhan Dan is willing to step up cooperation with press agencies of the DPRK, particularly Rodong Sinmun, the voice of the Workers' Party of Korea, to contribute to promoting the relationship between the two Parties and countries, as well as the development and building of socialism in each nation.
