Prime Minister attends 45th anniversary of fall of Pol Pot regime

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a ceremony held in the border area of Cambodia’s Tbong Khmum Province and Vietnam’s Binh Phuoc province on June 20 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s journey to overthrow the genocidal Pol Pot regime.

Prime Minister Hun Sen was received by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in the X16 area on the Loc Tan entrance road in the border district of Loc Ninh, where the Cambodian PM first set foot in Vietnam 45 years ago, beginning his journey for national salvation.

The two PMs joined a tree planting ceremony in the X16 area.
