Condolences over death of former Singaporean President

Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang sent his condolences to Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam on August 23 on the passing of former Singaporean President S.R. Nathan.

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also conveyed his sympathies to his Singaporean counterpart, Lee Hsien Loong.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh offered his condolences to Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrisnan.

S.R. Nathan was the longest-serving President of Singapore from 1999 to 2011.
