Addressing his guests, who included Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan, Indian Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish affirmed the close relations that exist between the two countries.
The bilateral cooperation is growing across various fields, such as defense-security, economics, science-technology, human resources and training, and culture, he noted.
He said that 2017 is the year of friendship between Vietnam and India since the two countries are celebrating the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic ties, the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership and the 25th anniversary of ASEAN-India dialogue partnership.
