President Tran Dai Quang pays state visit to Japan

President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse left Hanoi on May 29 to begin a state visit to Japan from May 29 - June 2 at the invitation of the Japanese Emperor and Empress.

The President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Phung Quoc Hien; Minister of Public Security To Lam; Chairman of the Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung; Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh; and Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha.

The President's entourage also includes Deputy Minister of Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh; Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung; Chairman of Hanoi municipal People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung; Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Quoc Cuong; Deputy Head of Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Nguyen Tuan Phong; Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha; and Assistant to the President, Tran Quang Tiep.
