According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent separate messages of congratulations to President of the Republic of the Philippines, Rodrigo Roa Duterte, on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh cabled a congratulatory message to his Philippine counterpart, Alan Peter Cayetano.
