PM visits Vietnamese Embassy, community in Romania

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse visited the Vietnamese Embassy and held talks with Vietnamese community in Romania on April 14 as part of his ongoing visit to the country.

The Government leader expressed his delight at the development of the Vietnamese community in Romania, noting that they are highly appreciated by the local authorities.

The PM highlighted the importance of solidarity among the Vietnamese community in Romania, hoping that they will continue to unite and help each other while preserving the cultural identity, mother tongue and fine customs of Vietnam.

PM Phuc noted that Vietnam will develop more policies to facilitate overseas Vietnamese and that the Party and State always pay due attention to overseas Vietnamese, considering them an inseparable part of Vietnam.

He said that the Government is making efforts to send more Vietnamese workers to Romania while expressing his belief that the cooperation between the two countries will be increasingly strengthened.

The Government leader asked the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania to pay more attention to community related work and to take the role as a bridge in the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
