The Government leader made the remarks while hosting a reception for Chairman of the RoK-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group Kim Hack-yong in Hanoi on June 13.

He said the Vietnam-RoK relations are growing strongly, extensively, effectively and successfully across various fields, contributing to consolidating political trust and mutual understanding between the two countries, stating that Vietnam highly appreciates the important role played by parliamentarians of the Vietnam-RoK and RoK-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Groups.

The Vietnamese Government always pays attention to handling the issues related to operations of RoK businesses in Vietnam, PM Phuc emphasised.

He asked the RoK to continue supporting Vietnam in all fields, including sports (especially football), urging for greater efforts by both sides to further strengthen Vietnam-RoK ties, with an immediate goal of striving to bring two-way trade revenues to US$100 billion in 2020.
