Vietnamese Ambassador presents credentials to President of Seychelles

After the presentation, the President sent his best wishes to senior leaders of Vietnam, saying that Seychelles always values and wishes to promote friendship and cooperation with Vietnam.

President Danny Faure expects that Vietnam will continue to share with Seychelles experiences on economic development, investment expansion, and development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

He also expressed his hope that the two countries will strengthen cooperation in various aspects, including tourism, telecommunications, fishing and marine economic development.

The President also wished the Vietnamese Ambassador a successful term, making positive contributions to the development of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Le Huy Hoang affirmed that Vietnam attaches great importance to the development of traditional friendship and relations with Seychelles, noting that he will closely cooperate with relevant ministries and sectors of Seychelles to contribute to promoting the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador expressed his thanks to the Seychelles Government for supporting Vietnam to become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2020-2021 term and hoped that the two countries will continue to support each other at multilateral forums including the United Nations, the International Organisation of La Francophonie, and Non-Aligned Movement.
