The official made the statement while receiving a delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy led by Ambassador Nguyen Anh Tuan, who was in Lviv Oblast to seek business opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises and attend an international book fair.

During the meetings with local officials, the Vietnamese diplomat learned about the business environment in Lviv Oblast and the incentive policies that the oblast is offering to foreign enterprises.

Ambassador Tuan expressed his hope that the oblast will pay attention to and support Vietnamese enterprises doing business there in the future.

For his part, Governor Malskyy affirmed that the oblast will create conducive conditions and attend to Vietnamese businesses if they plan to make long-term investment in the oblast.

He also suggested that Vietnam consider working with Ukraine to open a direct flight between Vietnam and Lviv.

As part of the working visit, the Embassy delegation also had a meeting with the Ukraine-Vietnam Friendship Association in Lviv and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Lviv Oblast.
