Congratulations sent to Nhan Dan Newspaper on Revolutionary Press Day

Leaders of the Party, State, ministries, sectors and agencies visited and congratulated Nhan Dan (People’s) Newspaper on June 18 on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army led a delegation from the Central Military Commission who visited Nhan Dan Newspaper on June 18.

The delegation was received by member of the Party Central Committee and Nhan Dan Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the General Department of Politics, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet extended his best wishes to Nhan Dan Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board and staff on the 96th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

He also thanked Nhan Dan for its close coordination with the Vietnam People's Army over the past years to disseminate Party guidelines and policies on national defence.

In particular, Nhan Dan Newspaper has regularly cooperated with the General Department of Politics in spreading images of soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army and the responsibility of the political system to boost people's consensus in defending the nation, especially in the areas of the borders, sea and islands, and non-traditional security issues, Quyet noted.

Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet affirmed the information published in the printed and online publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper has greatly contributed to shaping public opinion and creating a consensus among the people to fully serve the task of national defence.

He also expressed his wish that Nhan Dan Newspaper would continue to strengthen its close and regular coordination with the General Department of Politics to contribute to providing strategic consultancy for the Party and State in the propaganda about the two strategic tasks of building and defending the nation.

Nhan Dan Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh expressed his thanks for the affection of the Central Military Commission, the General Department of Politics and Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet in particular.

The Editor-in-Chief said that Nhan Dan Newspaper has always maintained a close relationship with the Vietnam People's Army and has given huge space in its printed and online publications to propagate the guidelines and policies of the Party and State as well as the Vietnam People's Army.

"As the leading press agency of the Party and State, we are always aware of our responsibility to contribute to bringing official information to all classes of people," Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh noted.
