National Assembly’s resolutions on election of key leaders promulgated

The National Assembly’s Secretary-General has announced the resolutions adopted at the first plenary session of the 15th parliament on the election of senior state and government leaders.

Under Resolution 10/2021/QH15, Nguyen Xuan Phuc was elected as President of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Under Resolution 11/2021/QH15, Pham Minh Chinh was elected as Prime Minister of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Under Resolution 12/2021/QH15, Nguyen Hoa Binh was elected as Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Under Resolution 14/2021/QH15, Vo Thi Anh Xuan was elected as Vice President of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 tenure.

And under Resolution 15/2021/QH15, Le Minh Tri was elected as Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 tenure.

These five resolutions came into effect immediately after they were passed by the National Assembly on July 26.
