Vietnamese in Cambodia rejoice at success of National Assembly’s plenary meeting

Despite being severely affected by COVID-19, the community of Vietnamese people in Cambodia always pays attention to the situation in Vietnam, especially the National Assembly’s recently concluded first plenary meeting.

Chau Van Chi, Chairman of the Khmer-Vietnam Society, said the community is delighted that the National Assembly has elected key leaders to continue taking the country forward.

He said that a strong and wealthy Vietnam will be a great motivation for the Vietnamese community around the world, particularly that in Cambodia.

Chi affirmed that despite facing a great deal of difficulties, Vietnamese people in Cambodia always turn their hearts to the country and are willing to make contributions when necessary.

On behalf of the Vietnamese community in Cambodia, Chi extended his best regards to Vietnamese leaders and people at home, wishing that the country will successfully overcome the difficulties of COVID-19.
