The event, co-chaired by the two commission heads Nguyen Trong Nghia and Rogelio Polanco, aimed to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two Parties and share experiences in ideological work as well as Party building.

Nghia stated that the Communist Party of Vietnam always considers the ideological work as a key measure to evoke patriotism and encourage people to act in a positive and creative way to realise the ideals and goals of socialism.

At the talks, the two sides shared their opinions on enhancing the quality of Party building and protecting the ideological foundation in the context of scientific and technological development.

They have agreed that the two commissions will further foster cooperation in the areas of their strengths and diversify the forms of cooperation in line with the COVID-19 situation, adding that the fifth workshop on theory between the two Parties will be held as soon as conditions permit.
