On behalf of Party and State leaders, the PM thanked the Vietnamese in Japan for always being with and supporting the homeland amid difficulties with various practical and effective activities.

Highlighting the thriving relations between Vietnam and Japan, PM Chinh said his visit is expected to open up a new chapter for the bilateral ties.

He called on the Vietnamese community in Japan to follow the host country's laws and make more contributions to consolidating and enhancing the friendship and the extensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

The PM said Vietnamese competent agencies are studying the reopening of commercial international flights at an early date, including those to Japan.

The Party and the State always consider OVs an integral part and development momentum of the country, the Government leader reiterated.

The participating expats affirmed that the Vietnamese community in Japan will continue to support the Party, the State and people at home in the pandemic combat, and socio-economic recovery and development.

They raised some recommendations and proposals to the Party, State, ministries and sectors on removing obstacles and bottlenecks in investment and procedures, thus creating optimal conditions for OVs to contribute to national construction and development.
