NA Chairman extends Tet greetings to Ben Tre’s Police

Politburo member and Chairman of National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue paid a visit and extended greetings to Ben Tre provincial police force on January 23, ahead of the Tet (Lunar New Year) Festival.

On the same day, the NA leader and other delegates planted trees at the memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh, in the headquarters of Ben Tre’s Police.

The activities also saw members of the Party Central Committee, including Secretary General of the National Assembly (NA) and Chairman of the NA Office Chairman Bui Van Cuong, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee's Ombudsman Committee Duong Thanh Binh, and Secretary of Ben Tre provincial Party Committee Le Duc Tho.

Earlier on January 22, NA leader Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation, offered incense and flowers in addition to planting trees at the temple, dedicated to Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh in Luong Quoi commune, Giong Trom district.

In addition, the delegates paid a visit and extended Tet greetings to retired cadres and revolutionary contributors and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, as well as armed forces and frontline forces, in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

* On the same day, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Nguyen Hoa Binh, led a delegation to visit and send Tet greetings to soldiers and people, in the border district 30a Ky Son, in the central province of Nghe An.

The delegation also visited Nam Can International Border Gate’s Guard Station, which was assigned the task of managing the 22.5 km border section between Vietnam and Lao, through Nghe An province.

* On January 22, Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs, Phan Dinh Trac visited and presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor households and workers who are living in difficult circumstances due to COVID-19, as well as frontline forces in the fight against the pandemic, throughout the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.
