Press Awards to promote the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style was launched in Hanoi on May 19.

Jointly organised by the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Commission for Communication and Education, Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, and the Communist Review, the event took place on the occasion of the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

Speaking at the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education cum Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Le Quoc Minh emphasised that over the years, the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style has become an important, regular and self-conscious task of party committees, organisations, units, cadres, party members and received the response of the people, actively contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

The contest will hold its awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025 on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s Birthday. Awards will be given in the following categories: print press, online newspaper, radio and television.
