Praising the relic site’s staff for excellently preserving items related to the late President, President Truong Tan Sang told them to work harder to conserve the items for next generations while introducing President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career to more people nationwide and foreign visitors.

The house, located within the President Ho Chi Minh relic site, was named after the year 1967 when it was constructed. This is where the President worked and passed away.

On September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and was the first state for farmers and workers in Southeast Asia.

The President Ho Chi Minh relic site and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which are part of the Presidential Palace complex, welcomes millions of visitors every year.
