Nearly 200 photos, materials and artifacts showcase the biographies, homelands, families and revolutionary causes of formers leaders Nguyen Van Cu, Truong Chinh, Le Duan, Nguyen Van Linh and Do Muoi.

Each exhibited photo and story reflects the communists’ steadfast loyalty to the revolution in all circumstances, their tireless struggles against colonists and imperialists and important milestones in their dedicated revolutionary cause.

Vice Director of the Hanoi municipal Department of Culture and Sports (HDCS) Truong Minh Tien affirmed that the former Party chiefs’ lives are exemplary models of noble qualities for communists.

With an unshakeable belief and extraordinary energy, they turned the prison into a revolutionary school to teach revolutionary ideals to other prisoners, members of the Vietnamese Nationalist Party and the prison’s employees, Tien said.

Holding the post of Party General Secretary, they made numerous contributions to fights for national independence, and national construction and defence, he added.

The exhibition is organised by the HDCS and will last until February 5.
