US-based thermal technology corporation inaugurates plant in Ha Nam

The US-based thermal technology corporation Gentherm held a ceremony on March 10 to inaugurate its plant at Dong Van II industrial park in Duy Tien District, in the northern province of Ha Nam.

Covering an area of nearly 2.1 hectares, the plant was constructed with a total investment of nearly US$28 million.

It will produce air conditioning products for the automotive industry and other industries including seat heating systems, seat air conditioning systems, fans, blowers, electric wires and cables for automobile manufacturers.

Once it is put into operation, the plant will create jobs for around 1,500 local people, contributing to Ha Nam’s development and improving the lives of the workers.

A representative of Gentherm Vietnam Company said that the plant would strive to effectively produce and trade while paying attention to protecting environment.

Ha Nam provincial People’s Committee asked the company to implement investment commitments and strictly observe the Vietnamese state’s policies and laws as well as care for the material and spiritual lives of workers.
