During the meeting with head of the Philippines’ delegation Lieutenant General Romeo Tanalgo, the two sides expressed delight at the fruitful co-operation between the two nations’ armies.

They shared views on accelerating the agreements reached on delegation exchanges at all levels, and navy training and exchanges.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese General and Myanmar’s Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Min Aung Hlaing agreed on fostering bilateral co-operation in military medicine, education and training.

Myanmar always wishes to boost the friendship and multi-faceted co-operation with Vietnam, particularly in national defence, on the basis of the traditional ties of the two nations, reiterated the Myanmar General.

General Ty also discussed with head of the Brunei’s delegation Major General Palaoan Mohd Tawih Abdullab measures to consolidate bilateral co-operation in national defence, focusing on education and training, information exchange, among others.
