The enterprises were recognised for their excellent performance in the fields of finance, banking, real estate, services, construction and the automobile industry, among others.

Several well known names were honoured such as Samsung Electronics, Chinfon China, Deloitte Vietnam, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam and ZAMIL Vietnam.

Meanwhile, 100 local businesses were also recognised for their efforts in overcoming a series of difficulties in 2015. Some of the businesses honoured included the Viettel Group, Hoa Sen Group, Vingroup, Amigo Pharma, and the Traphaco pharmaceutical joint stock company.

The awards encourage Vietnamese enterprises to improve the quality of their products and services and create a positive image for made-in-Vietnam products on the world market, said Nguyen Thuy Thuong, General Director of Amigo Pharma Vietnam.

The annual prize is granted by the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Economic Times to honour contributions made by foreign-invested enterprises to the Vietnamese economy and excellent local enterprises.
