PM visits Laos to co-chair Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee’s 40th meeting

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has led a high-ranking delegation of Vietnamese Government officials to Laos as he attends and co-chairs the 40th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee on February 4-5.

The visit was made at the invitation of Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith.

PM Phuc is accompanied by Minister of Planning and Investment and Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Committee, Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister cum Head of the Government Office, Mai Tien Dung; Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Transport Minister Nguyen Van The, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha; and Assistant to the PM, Bui Huy Hung, along with leaders and representatives of several ministries, sectors and localities. Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung also joined the delegation.
