Hanoi hopes to further ties with Mozambique

The ambassador said that during his term of office in Vietnam, he had chances to work with many municipal leaders and discovered the abundant cooperation potential existing between Vietnam and Mozambique as well as between Hanoi and Maputo.

Chairman Chung congratulated the diplomat on fulfilling all tasks assigned by the Mozambican Government. He expressed his hopes that in any position, the ambassador will continue to work to strengthen the friendship between the two countries and their capital cities, thus lifting bilateral ties to a new height.

He voiced his support for the initiative of setting up sister city relations between Hanoi and Maputo in the future.
