Vietnamese PM pays official visit to New Zealand

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc leaves Hanoi on March 11 for an official visit to New Zealand from March 12-14 at the invitation of New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

The Government leader is accompanied by Deputy PM cum Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, and Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung.

The entourage also includes head of the National Assembly’s Ombudsman Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Minister of Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Thanh, Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Viet Dung and a number of other officials.
