He also expressed his hope that the Youth Theater in particular and many other arts units will continue to promote the tradition, as it contributes to the development of culture and art in the country.
Established in 1978, the Youth Theatre has not only performed in Vietnam but also co-operates with art troupes in countries such as Japan and Germany. It is currently a member of the International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ).
Over 40 past years, with nearly 400 plays under its belt, the theater has organised many performances to serve people and children all over the country, and has become a prestigious art unit known in Vietnam and around the world.
