His wife, Truong Thi Xin also received the 70-year Party membership badge on the occasion.
Politburo member Hai congratulated the two comrades, saying that the badge was bestowed by the Party in recognition of their achievements and contributions to the nation over the past 70 years.
The comrades have always shown the virtues of exemplary Party members, while successfully accomplishing the tasks assigned to them by the Party and the State, he noted.
Comrades Nguyen Dinh Huong and Truong Thi Xin were both born in 1930 in the central province of Nghe An.
They also received many noble awards from the Party and State such as the Independence Order, First Class; the Labour Order, First Class; and the Anti-American War of Resistance Order, First Class; among others.
