Review of Politburo Directive to study and follow Uncle Ho’s moral example

The Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block held a conference in Hanoi, on May 15, to review the two year implementation of the Politburo's Directive No.5 on promoting the 'Studying and Following of President Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example'.

Addressing the conference, member of the Party Central Committee Son Minh Thang, who is Secretary of the Party Committee for Central Agencies Block, stressed that the implementation of the Politburo's Directive No. 05 over the last two years has been closely coordinated with Resolution No.4 on Party building and rectification set by the 12th Party Central Committee.

In the near future, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block has defined four breakthroughs to continue the effective implementation of Directive No.05. That is, to promote pioneering, exemplary cadres, party members, especially the head of party committees, agencies, and units; to improve the quality of the party cell and the effectiveness of ideological work in the Party and the public relations in state agencies, while also improving the effectiveness of coordination between Party committees and the leaders of agencies and units in the performance of political tasks and personnel work.

Politburo member Thuong stressed that President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts and moral example are a great and valuable spiritual asset of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the nation.

He also praised the exemplary role played by cadres and Party members in making the campaign more substantive and effective in selecting capable and moral individuals for Party organisations.

He also asked the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block to continue effectively promoting the campaign in the coming years through more practical and detailed measures.
