The MOFA’s Party Committee in coordination with the Party Committee of the Foreign Party Agency Bloc held a seminar in Hanoi on June 7 to introduce the aforementioned project on “Reorganising the MOFA’s Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Foreign Party Agency Bloc”.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, who is also Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies in Foreign Countries, stressed the importance of the reorganisation with a range of specifications.

Under the guidelines issued in late 2017 by the Party Central Committee and the Politburo regarding the reorganisation, the MOFA has actively taken actions to build the draft project for the reshuffle of the two important Party agencies.

The draft project has been supplemented and finalised on the basis of adhering to the major guidelines of the Party and State, as well as inheriting results from theoretical and practical summaries, assessments and research studies both at home and abroad related to the reorganisation.

At the seminar, former Party and State leaders, as well as senior officials from relevant Party agencies and concerned authorities discussed the plan and contributed their ideas for the finalisation of the scheme before submitting to the Politburo for approval.

They agreed on the theoretical and practical basis proposed by the scheme in the selection of the reorganisation models for the two important Party Committees, as well as for the specialised bodies responsible for advising and assisting the aforementioned agencies.
