Addressing the working session with the leaders of Quang Tri province on June 17, the NA vice Chairwoman appreciated the efforts made by the local Party, government and people towards bringing about positive changes in both rural and urban areas.

She praised the province for coming up with innovations and initiatives in terms of directing and promoting the work of Party building, improving the investment environment, and expanding its diplomatic relations with Laos.

She asked the province to focus on implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, as well as the targets set at the provincial 16th Party congress, striving to achieve the average economic growth compared to the country’s level by 2020.

Despite numerous difficulties and challenges, Quang Tri has many favourable conditions that can facilitate development, she said, noting that people from all strata should uphold traditions and be determined to make the province stronger and more developed.
