Head of the NA deputies from Long An province, Truong Van No, said that the fifth session of the 14th NA demonstrated the spirit of innovation and democracy and has achieved many important outcomes.

He noted that the NA approved seven laws, eight resolutions and made comments on nine other laws. In particular, during the Q&A session, the NA deputies and Government officials clarified issues of public concerns.

Local voters proposed that the NA increases the amount of time for inquiry sessions, while strengthening the supreme supervision and inspection of the realisation of promises of ministers.

Many voters from Ben Luc district expressed their disagreement that certain individuals take advantage of the patriotism of local workers to disturb public order, while inciting workers to strike at factories and threatening those who did not follow their directions. Voters requested that the authorities strictly punish any lawbreakers to make workers feel secure at work.

They also hoped for more support from the authorities in order to build more kindergartens and provide more entertainment facilities for local workers and their children.

Deputy PM Binh acknowledged and received the comments from local voters, affirming that their ideas will be submitted to the NA and authorised agencies. He noted that voters and people should be vigilant against hostile forces, while remaining confident in the leadership of the Party and State.
