Vietnam, Argentina promote legislative cooperation

NA Vice Chairman Ty emphasised that Vietnam considers Argentina an important partner in Latin America and wishes to foster its partnership with Argentina in a comprehensive manner to develop cooperation in economy, investment and trade.

He underlined the support and appreciation of Vietnam’s NA for the development of ties between the two countries, and its willingness to promote exchanges and cooperation with the Argentine parliament.

The NA Vice Chairman showed his delight at the growing relationship between the two parliaments over recentyears, while suggesting measures to further foster the partnership in future.

For his part, Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship, Jorge Faurie, expressed his delight at Vietnam's visit on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.

He affirmed that Vietnam has the greatest number oftechnical cooperation projects with Argentina out of all Southeast Asian countries.

Minister Faurie hoped this visit will provide a good opportunity to boost ties between the two countries in various fields.

Argentina is also ready to support and share experiences with Vietnam in the areas of prevention and control of drugs and human trafficking, he noted.
