The conference was attended by Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh.
Addressing the conference, Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh acknowledged the positive results obtained by the Party Committee recently but also pointed out a number of limitations that need to be overcome.
He asked the Party Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp the directives and resolutions of the Party Central Committee, attach importance to building Party cells and promote the key role of party organisations in association with the implementation of their political tasks.
Delegates at the conference focused on reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the Resolution adopted at the Congress of the Party Committee of the Foreign Party Agency Bloc (2015-2020 tenure), as well as proposing solutions to the Party and State in order to deepen the country’s external relations.
On the occasion, the Party Committee presented certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the implementation of Directive No.5 of the Politburo on enhancing the movement on studying and following the thought, morals and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
