Vietnamese ambassador to Indonesia presents letter of credence

Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia, Pham Vinh Quang, has presented his A letter of credence to President Joko Widodo, who expressed his delight at the development of their bilateral relations and congratulated Vietnam on its recent socio-economic achievements.

During a meeting on August 13, the Indonesian leader expressed his belief that the two countries will continue strengthening their cooperation and coordination in regional and international issues, thereby contributing to maintaining peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the globe.

He expressed his hope that his upcoming visit to Vietnam this September will witness the signing of new agreements, affirming that the Indonesian Government and businesses wish to expand their multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam.

For his part, Ambassador Quang conveyed the regards of President Tran Dai Quang and the other leaders of Vietnam to the Indonesian leader.

Briefing the President on the development of the bilateral strategic partnership, the diplomat affirmed that the Vietnamese leaders and people want to maintain and further deepen the bilateral ties.

He said he believed that President Joko Widodo’s state visit to Vietnam in September will create new momentum for the bilateral strategic partnership.

He proposed that the President and the Indonesian Government should continue to encourage Indonesian firms to their expand business and cooperation in Vietnam.
