NA Standing Committee to convene 28th meeting on October 15

The 14th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will convene its 28th meeting on October 15, with an array of important reports on the agenda.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and the vice chairpersons of the law-making body will take turn to chair the meeting.

During the session, which will last until October 17, reports will be tabled for examination including those on socio-economy, economic structure, national target programme, support policies for ethnic minority groups, state budget, national financial plan, and mid-term public investment plan.

The committee is set to give opinions on the submission of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and relevant documents to the NA.

Other items on the table are a report on citizen receptions and the settlement of complaints and denunciations sent to the NA in 2018, and another on the implementation of Decree No.30/2016/QH14 on piloting e-visa for foreigners.

The establishment of Tan Khai township in Hon Quan district, Tien Thanh ward in Dong Xoai town, and Dong Xoai city in Binh Phuoc province will be also under consideration of the committee.

Also, the committee will discuss the preparations for the 6th NA meeting and the personnel work.
