The meeting aims to implement the process of introducing personnel of the executive board, the Chairman and the Vice Chairman of the VNFU Central Committee in the seventh tenure; recapitulate opinions of farmers' committees and party committees of provinces and cities on the draft report of the VNFU Central Committee in the sixth tenure at the seventh national congress of the VNFU for the period from 2018 to 2023 and the drafts of some amendments and supplements to the VNFU Charter.
At the meeting, Party Central Committee member Thao Xuan Sung, who is Chairman of the VNFU Central Committee said that the implementation of the personnel process has special significance in the leadership and direction of the VNFU’s movement in the coming term.
The seventh national congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VNFU) is expected to take place from December 11 to 14.
