Party Committee of Central Agencies Bloc celebrates 70th anniversary

The Party Committee of Central Agencies Bloc (CAB) held a ceremony in Hanoi on November 6 in Hanoi to celebrate its 70th anniversary of establishment (November 7, 194-2018).

The event was attended by former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and former President Tran Duc Luong as well as Politburo member and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC)'s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong, among other Party and State leaders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member Tran Quoc Vuong showed appreciation for the achievements gained by the Party Committee of the CAB over the past 70 years.

He asked the Party Organisation to continue to enhance the education of political theory and thoughts, self-criticism and criticism, as well as resolutely fight, prevent and reverse the degeneration of political ideology, ethics and lifestyle and the manifestation of ‘self-evolution’ and ‘self-transformation’ inside the Party.

The CAB’s Party Committee should closely follow the Party’s resolutions, directives and regulations as well as the leadership and direction of the Politburo and Secretariat to promote the Party building, the Politburo member said.

He also noted that it is very crucial to focus on building a contingent of cadres and Party members, especially leading cadres, managers and heads with good quality, capacity and prestige.

Permanent member of the PCC’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong stressed the importance of the renovation and rearrangement of the organisational structure of the CAB’s Party Committee, whilst focusing on the inspection and supervision.
