The annual event aims to connect female diplomats and the spouses of diplomats in addition to introducing the culture of countries in the region.
This year’s event gathered nearly 30 booths promoting the culture of countries in the region including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Timor Leste.
The Vietnamese booth introduced international friends to diverse cultural products including paintings, books, souvenirs, ao dai (traditional dress), and documents on the Vietnamese culture and popular tourism sites.
Vietnamese delicacies prepared by officials from the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos were also showcased at the party which attracted much attention from the other delegates.
Vietnamese female diplomats and spouses of diplomats in Laos have actively participated in the annual event for years, contributing to consolidating the relations between the Vietnamese Embassy and other agencies of Laos, as well as foreign diplomatic corps in Laos, while promoting Vietnamese culture to international friends.
