Leaders meet voters after National Assembly meeting

Senior Party and State leaders on November 26 attended meetings with voters in localities which they represent to inform them of the results of the recently concluded National Assembly plenary session.

In Son La province, NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong answered constituents’ queries and took note of their suggestions to be submitted to the concerned authorities.

She also took the occasion to present VND300 million to the Fatherland Front of Yen Chau district to support underprivileged households.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh travelled to Long An province and informed voters of the country’s economic performance and the fight against corruption in the past year.

He promised voters that the government would take further actions to realise the socio-economic goals set for 2019.

In Dong Nai province, head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong told voters that the Party and State have been particularly aggressive in the campaign to eliminate corruption.

At the meeting with a military division stationed in Thai Nguyen province, Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh informed soldiers of the substantive results of Vietnam’s external relations in 2018.

In Bac Ninh province, Minister of Public Security To Lam informed his constituents on security issues, adding that his ministry is working hard to prevent and crack down on serious crimes.
