Addressing the office’s conference to review its work in 2018 and set forth tasks for 2019, in Hanoi, on January 9, the senior legislator urged the agency to step up IT application in its operations.

The 2019 law and ordinance building programme includes law projects regarding the organisation and apparatus, along with other important and complex organisations, she said, stressing that the office should devote more time to research work in order to ensure the quality and progress of projects.

Given the difficult tasks it has been set for 2019 towards the completion of targets for the 2016-2020 period, Ngan called on the legislative body, the office, and other NA agencies to make greater efforts in the future.

She applauded the contributions of the office’s staff towards the achievements that the NA recorded in legislation, supervision, and decision-making on vital national matters last year.

On the occasion, the chief legislator presented the third class Independence Order to former NA Secretary General and former Vice Chairman of the NA Office Le Bo Linh.

NA Vice Chairpersons Tong Thi Phong and Do Ba Ty also handed over several orders to other key individuals and collectives.
