NA leader pays Tet visit to Tien Giang’s police, medical workers

Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made a Tet tour of the public security force and doctors and patients at Tien Giang General Hospital in the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang on February 4.

At the headquarters of the provincial public security force, Chairwoman Ngan commended the force for reinforcing their capacity to ensure social order and security, reduce traffic accidents, and fight crimes effectively.

She extended her New Year wishes to officials and members of the force and said she expects them to build on the heroic revolutionary tradition to continue performing their role soundly in safeguarding social order and safety in the new circumstances.

At the Tien Giang General Hospital, Chairwoman Ngan hailed doctors and nurses for taking a good care of people’s health, expressing her hope that they will sharpen their professional skills to win people’s confidence in their performances, thus helping reduce the transfer of patients to central hospitals.

The leader presented 20 Tet gift packages to the patients who are undergoing treatment there.

Director of the Tien Giang General Hospital Associate Professor Ta Van Tram pledged that the staff will continue improving their professional competence and services so to provide better treatment and care for people in the province.
