He highly appreciated achievements made by the city’s armed forces over the recent years, which have contributed to maintaining the political security and social order of the city and the sovereignty of the country in general.

After briefing the city’s leaders and armed forces on the country’s significant socio-economic achievements in 2018, he called on Da Nang to establish itself as a political, economic, and social hub in the central and Central Highlands region.

Every official and soldier should take a pioneering role in fighting corruption, he said, adding that local armed forces should stay alert and maintain combat readiness to ensure political stability, security and social order in the city.

During his stay in Da Nang, the Government leader visited and conveyed Tet greetings to officers and residents in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district.

Saluting fishermen, policy beneficiary families and religious population in the ward, he requested that local authorities continue ensuring social order and care for the livelihoods of locals, particularly disadvantaged households and religious groups.
