Among those visited were heroic Vietnamese mothers Ha Thi Vien, in Dong Phu ward, and Nguyen Thi Cuc, in Hai Thanh ward, and war invalid Truong Minh Hoc, in Nam Ly ward.
On behalf of the Party and State, Deputy PM Binh expressed hisgratitude towards the individuals and their families for their sacrifices towards national independence and reunification.
He asked the local authorities to pay more attention to taking care of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors.
The Deputy PM also shared his hope that the policy beneficiaries would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and make more efforts to overcome all difficulties, contributing to the development of the locality.
