In 2019, the GDSR was assigned to purchase 200,000 tonnes of rice and 80,000 tonnes of paddy.

By June 30, 2019, it has stored 200,000 tonnes of rice, reaching 100% of the yearly plan.

Regarding paddy, as of June 30, 2019, 62,400 tonnes were stored, accounting for 78% of the plan.

The rest will be purchased by regional units and is expected to be completed by July 31.

In the first six months of 2019, the GDSR focused on storing goods held for bidding in 2018, including cutting drilling equipment, fire water pumps, canvas houses, and generators.
