Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh attended the event and presented the first-class Labour Order to the Corporation.
The Corporation 789 was formed 30 years ago as a housing construction and repair enterprise under the Education Administration, the Education Administration, the General Staff Department.
The corporation has fulfilled its military and defence missions, particularly building the military works as well as designing and constructing hundreds of combat works, command posts and defense areas around the country.
The unit has also successfully implemented the tasks of production and business, contributing to preserving and developing the State capital and improving the income of workers.
In addition to works serving for defense and military missions, the corporation has also been a pioneer in actively participating in the construction of housing projects for military staff.
Over the past 30 years, the Corporation 789 has constructed more than 5,000 large-scale projects, many of which had complex structures.
