Activities commemorate President Ho Chi Minh’s passing anniversary

A ceremony was solemnly held on August 21 at a memorial house in honour of President Ho Chi Minh in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the central province of Nghe An to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his passing (1969-2019).

The event was attended by the delegation of the Cuban Committee for the Defence of the Revolution, led by its President Carlos Rafael Miranda Martinez and Secretary of Nghe An provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh.

The delegates, along with local people, offered incense and flowers to pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their determination to follow the revolutionary path that the Party and Uncle Ho had chosen.

The local officials and people were committed to strive to develop Nghe An province in general and Nam Dan in particular to become more prosperous and stronger.

On the same day, leaders and people of Dong Nai province offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at Tran Bien temple of literature, showing their gratitude to the beloved leader.

The local Party Committee, authorities and people vowed to strengthen solidarity to successfully implement the Resolution of the tenth provincial Party Congress, contributing to developing the country and make it more prosperous and beautiful as Uncle Ho’s wished.

Also, a delegation of officials and employees of Ba Vi National Park which was assigned to manage the Uncle Ho Temple in the district of the same name, Hanoi, along with leaders of 16 communes, monks, nuns and people in the locality paid tribute to the President Ho Chi Minh.

They showed their respect to the President, heroic martyrs and revolutionary contributors for their contribution to national liberation.

Hanoi Police held an exhibition entitled ‘The capital police inscribe Uncle Ho’s words’, marking the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament.

On display are photos and objects recalling Uncle Ho’s working visit to the Hanoi Police as well as featuring the achievements made by the police forces in the capital city.
