Prime Minister meets officials directly serving Uncle Ho

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with former officials who directly served and safeguarded President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day and the 50-year implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.

The meeting was held at the Government Headquarters in Hanoi on August 28.

The former officials reviewed unforgettable memories of Uncle Ho and expressed their emotion at the care they received from Party and State leaders.

They committed themselves to be absolutely loyal to the Party and the nation while following the path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho and upholding their morality and revolutionary qualities to make contributions to the country.

PM Phuc expressed his honour in meeting former officials who directly served Uncle Ho for many years and was touched by the stories and memories about the beloved President.

He said that Uncle Ho is a shining example of revolutionary morality and of sacrifice for the country and people. Uncle Ho has been gone for 50 years but his moral example and teachings have always guided Party members and Vietnamese people, the PM noted. We are all committed to follow and study the example of Uncle Ho, the Government leader added.

The PM also said that the Party and State always remember the service to Uncle Ho by former officials, who are also examples for the loyalty and dedication to the revolutionary cause.
