A delegation of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by member of Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site in Nam Dan District.
The delegates also offered incense at a monument dedicated to late Party General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Nguyen district.
Nghe An’s leaders paid homage to President Ho Chi Minh and the late Party leader for their great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation, while pledging to make greater efforts to help the province gain further achievements in all fields.
* On the same day, an exhibition, themed “the armed forces of Military Zone 7 – 50-year realisation of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament”, officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City.
On display were over 1,000 documents, reports, books, photos and objectives on the life and career of Uncle Ho as well as the contents and values of his testament. The exhibits also introduced typical examples in the armed forces of the Military Zone 7 in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

* On August 29, the provinces of Thai Nguyen and Ba Ria – Vung Tau held conferences to review the three-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW on accelerating the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality and lifestyle, and the 50-year implementation of Uncle Ho’s will.
* Also yesterday, the Ground Force Academy in Da Lat city, the Central Highland of Lam Dong province, held a seminar themed “President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament - Ideological Value and Practical Significance".
Meanwhile, Bac Giang provincial Youth Union held a ceremony to review the emulation campaign ‘Bac Giang youths remember Uncle Ho’s testament’. Since the beginning of this year, the youth unions at all levels in the province have launched numerous significant activities and movements, attracting a large number of young people.
