He called on countries to join efforts to fight dangers from cyber space, together maintain peace and stability and ensure national sovereignty and interests of each nation.
Vinh said countries need to build and fine-tune international laws on cyber space, and join conventions and joint statements on cyber security cooperation on the basis of respect for sovereignty, equality and mutual benefits for the goal of using cyber space for the purpose of peace, development and cooperation.
On the occasion, Deputy Defence Minister Vinh had a meeting with Canadian Deputy Defence Minister Judy Thomas, during which both sides discussed joint work across the exchange of delegations, training, United Nations peacekeeping operations, and visits to naval vessels.
