Permanent Deputy PM pays official visits to Singapore, Finland and Bulgaria

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and his wife are leading a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to pay official visits to Singapore, Finland and Bulgaria from September 22 to October 1, at the invitation of the governments of the three aforementioned countries.

In Singapore, Politburo member Binh is scheduled to hold talks with his Singaporean counterpart Heng Swee Keat, make a courtesy call on President Halimah Yacob, receive Senior Minister & Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean and the leaders of the Enterprise Singapore (ESG), as well as meet with the leaders of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) and some big Singaporean corporations.

The deputy PM will also visit and talk with officials and employees at the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, while paying floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statute in the country.

During his stay in Finland, Deputy PM Binh will hold talks with Acting Deputy PM and Minister of Finance Mika Lintila, pay a courtesy call on PM Antii Rinne and meet with First Deputy Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Tuula Haatainen. In addition, he will visit the headquarters of the Vantaa Energy company and the Nokia company and a number of historical and cultural facilities, while talking to officials of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Finland.

While visiting Bulgaria, Deputy PM Binh is scheduled to hold talks with his Bulgarian counterpart as well as pay courtesy calls on the Bulgarian state leaders and visit a number of cultural and historical establishments in the country.
